Dental, Vision & EAP

Schools Insurance Authority manages self-funded dental, vision, and employee assistance programs. Services include underwriting and rate development, and contracts with Delta Dental of California and Vision Service Plan (VSP) for the administration of dental and vision claims, respectively, for our members. We also contract with Optum for EAP services. SIA offers different plan structures for members to choose from according to their needs.

Dental

With our pool of members, the Delta Dental PPO Network through SIA offers the highest benefits. When you enroll in the PPO dental plan, you can go to any dentist in or out of network. When you use network providers, the plan pays higher benefits and you pay less!

Vision

VSP offers SIA members wide-ranging vision benefits designed to promote eye health and overall wellness. All plans include a WellVision Exam®. Additionally, all plans include eyewear that is right for you and your budget.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

Our EAP is designed to help school employees handle personal problems that seriously affect job performance.  It also provides a systematic way for management, supervisors, and employees to deal constructively with problems related to reduced job performance before the employee’s job status is jeopardized.
