This workshop provides education related to emotional eating as a reaction to stress. Learn about the physiological response to stress and how the neurological and hormonal stress response can set up a desire to eat to cope.
Presentation Objectives
- Determine emotional eating patterns by self-assessment
- Learn about the role of neurotransmitters and the relationship between food and mood
- Strategize the implementation of healthy eating and stress management techniques into your daily life
