Nutrition

Good nutrition is vital to good health, disease prevention, and quality of life.

Yet between 310,000 and 580,000 deaths occur every year in part due to unhealthy eating and physical inactivity, according to the US Department of Health and Human Services. This number is similar to the number of deaths caused by tobacco. Yet according to the Center for Disease Control, state and federal governments spend only one thousand times more to treat disease than to prevent it ($1,390 vs. $1.21 per person each year).

So as you can see nutrition affects EVERYONE! As employees are doing more with less there has never been a more impending time to learn about good nutrition and how it influences so many aspects of our daily lives. This presentation is led by our Licensed Nutritionist & Exercise Physiologist who promises to give you real world tools and strategies for improving your current state of nutrition. Eating right is often times a matter of making the best choices under the circumstances so with stress levels on the rise this may be your one opportunity to improve your health while other things remain under duress. The biggest and best dividend you can get in today's economy is to invest in your health!
