ELIZABETH RHO-NG, ESQ.
Elizabeth Rho-Ng is a partner in the Pleasanton office of Atkinson, Andelson, Loya Ruud & Romo. Elizabeth represents California public school districts, county offices of education and special education local plan areas in various aspects of Education Law, specializing in special education and student issues. She advises clients on legal compliance issues related to implementation of federal and state requirements pertaining to students in public schools and has extensive expertise on topics ranging from Section 504 issues to bullying prevention to special education dues process proceedings. Elizabeth has successfully litigated IDEA special education cases in both state and federal courts.
Nancy LaCasse is Associate Vice President of School Services of California, Inc., (SSC). Nancy serves as the liaison between the State Capitol and school districts and county offices of education throughout California on legislative issues and trends affecting K-14 education. She provides legislative advocacy services on behalf of SSC legislative clients, including SELF and other major statewide education organizations and coalitions, and regularly consults with individual school districts and county offices of education on State Budget and legislative issues. She has been at the forefront on statewide efforts to increase funding for special education and other statewide education programs.
